Cobalt blue has been making a statement recently and it is a fantastic alternative to black. This satin blue dress was a sensational $17 bargain I picked up at a recent Target sale. I wore it to a friend’s wedding and wished I’d opted for my favourite red dress as three other ladies decided to wear blue dresses! I paired it with beige shoes for the wedding but these red Steve Madden shoes (pictured) were a $15 steal from the factory outlets.
This leather-look blue skirt was a gift from Mum. For maximum impact I paired it with this hot pink jumper and matching pink shoes. It’s spot on with the colour blocking trend, which is exactly as it sounds - large blocks of colour put together. So go on girls, I dare you to be brave and put on some bright gear.
