Ladylike dressing is very much in vogue. I stupidly opted for light, frilly and feminine and got a rude shock when I stepped outside!
After a beautiful warm day yesterday, today’s plummeting temperature was a shock to the system. I should have opted for the current 40s ‘It’ look of knee or calf-length full skirts with a cashmere knit.
The other big shock is getting through the day with less than five hours sleep under my belt. It’s just as well I’m not behind the wheel of a V8 Supercar at Bathurst - I’ll leave that to my friend’s very experienced hubby. I woke up in the middle of the night and my mind started ticking, the mountains turned into Mt Everest and the rest is history.
It’s amazing I managed to pull an outfit together for church with my sleepy head. You’ll be happy to know I’m now in Ugg boots, velvet pants and a neon pink knit! Time for a nanna nap. Oops, nearly forgot about the banana cake baking in the oven. It’s on high rotation baking here as there’s usually over-ripe nanas on hand.
