In case you’re wondering why I’m standing on a scooter in my patent pink heels, I was at the skatepark today.
Rather delightfully, I spent most of the day on my bum, and I don’t mean from falling off the scooter! Mum and I found a patch of shade under a fledgling tree, set up beach chairs, a rug, and hardly moved a muscle for the entire four hours. Our jaw muscles did of course get a good work out from all the chatter. And the best bit, the boys will be so worn out they might actually sleep in!
I rocked up in these Tony Bianco sandals (complete with on-trend raffia mini-wedges) but gave the Nine West pink platforms a brief run. The yellow boy-bag was a gift from Mum which she admitted finding very difficult to hand over! Ditto with the yellow floral tote bag in the foreground.
You’ll be pleased to know I was super sun smart with my wide-brimmed Rip Curl hat and lashings of sunscreen. The sun had such bite to it we retreated quickly to the shade.
This Striking dress was a bargain from the Direct Factory Outlets a few years ago and is more on trend than ever with its bright colors, patterns and ruffles.
I was tempted to take photos for my little blog at home in the morning then get changed for the skatepark. But I thought what the heck, I’m no wallflower and I have no intention of blending in with the boring grey concrete!

Capped off today’s outfit with this blue Diva cuff, yellow boy-bag and pale turquoise nails. I would have painted my fingernails blue, pink or orange had I known this would be the dress of choice for today. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
