For the third consecutive day I’m housebound with a sick child - well sort of! I managed to sneak out yesterday for a not-to-be-missed shopping extravaganza.
Once a year a handful of girls are invited into the home of a friend, Maddy, who owns French Pony boutique in Brighton, to get our hands on some of the goodies she has culled from her three wardrobes. Yes you read correctly, THREE robes full of designer gear - you wouldn’t expect anything less from a stylist with her years of experience.
I did mention I am trying to save so I took $100 with me (last year I spent $300 in the blink of an eye) and had to make the best of it! Let me tell you I shed a few tears over some of the goodies I walked away from including a jewelled box clutch and sheer Armani shirt. You’ll see some of the goodies over the coming weeks - you know I can’t help myself!
A long, lean silhouette created by a fur-lined knit like this is back in the fashion spotlight. Threw on a metallic belt to accentuate my waist, paired it with Sass & Bide faux-leather jeans, Wittner boots and a splash of red. Polished off with my favourite raffia clutch.
While I was lying in bed at 5am listening to a cacophony of coughing, God gave me a huge vision download about my little fashion blog.
