I considered staying in my sweaty workout gear all day today but I couldn’t bare the idea of hubby coming home to a smelly mess!
Call me old fashioned but I think it’s nice for a man to come home after a hectic day to a woman in control of her home and appearance.
And I can tell you after a run, grocery shopping, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing and generally putting this old place through its paces, it was great to shower and get my groove on!
It didn’t take a lot of effort either - traded the lycra for this stretchy striped skirt, sequinned singlet and strappy sandals. Polished off with an orange cuff and emerald snakeskin clutch.
I don’t think my up-do will rate highly but it’s a great way to keep a mop out of your face!
The rascals are running wild in the street and climbing trees so I’m off to get dinner sorted. Steak, snags and chicken skewers on the bbq, baked spuds with a dollop of natural yoghurt, corn on the cob, and steamed carrots and beans (the boys prefer vegies raw so I’ve cut up carrot sticks, beans, baby tomatoes & cucumber for them).
